Dr. Urvesh Chauhan

Dr. Urvesh S. Chauhan is a RCI-registered Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. A visionary leader, he is the founder of Think Universal, a centre dedicated to transforming lives through psychological support, education, and advocacy.

Dr. Chauhan’s academic accomplishments include a bachelor’s degree from JP College in Bharuch, a postgraduate degree in Forensic Psychology from G.F.S.U., Gandhinagar, and a postgraduate diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology from Choudhury Ranveer Singh University, Delhi. His Ph.D. research delved into the psychological differences between individuals experiencing depression and those without it, reflecting his deep commitment to understanding mental health complexities.

Professionally, Dr. Chauhan has held key roles, including positions at DFS, Araf General Hospital, and as a counselor and supervisor for the Jeevan Aastha Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Care Helpline. With over four years of teaching experience as a visiting lecturer, he has also mentored aspiring psychologists in multiple colleges.

In 2019, Dr. Chauhan brought his vision of holistic mental health care to life by establishing Think Universal. Today, the center provides a wide range of services, from therapy to internships, alongside collaborations with organizations like Well Care: The De-addiction Rehabilitation Station in Navsari and Jay Ambe Rehabilitation Centre.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Chauhan is passionate about mental health awareness. Through his educational videos on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, he actively works to destigmatize mental health challenges and empower people with knowledge and resources.

Dr. Chauhan has recently embarked on a new chapter as an author. Drawing on his extensive professional experience, he aims to bridge the gap between clinical psychology and public understanding through storytelling and accessible insights. His writing is a testament to his lifelong mission: to create a more compassionate and informed society.
